​PRAYER FOR THE CANONIZATION OF PADRE KINO
​
Almighty and merciful Father, Lord of the Nations, You inspired Your servant, Eusebio Francisco Kino, with a love for the Peoples of the Americas, and filled him with selfless zeal for the Gospel. Your love for the desert Peoples of the Americas came to life in him, forming him into a bridge-builder between peoples and cultures – a prophet of justice in service of their lives and their dignity. We thank You for the celestial favors bestowed upon him in his lifetime of service and evangelization. Inspired by his example, we ask that You open our hearts to continue his legacy of peace-making and of loving service. With hope in his intercession before Your heavenly throne, we beg You to grant the petitions we now bring before You…Also, if it be in accord with Your will, we ask, too, that the holiness of his life may result in a declaration of sainthood so that his example might inspire peace, understanding, and justice among all peoples. We ask this through Christ our Lord, for the greater glory of Your Name. Amen. 

ORACION POR LA CANONIZACION DEL PADRE KINO

Todo poderoso y misericordioso Padre, Señor de las naciones, Tu inspiraste a tu siervo, Eusebio Francisco Kino, con un amor por la gente de las Américas, y lo llenaste con un celo libre de egoísmo, por el Evangelio. Tu amor por la gente del desierto de las Américas se encarnó en él, transformándolo en constructor de puentes entre los pueblos y sus culturas: un profeta de justicia al servicio de la vida de la gente y de su dignidad. Te agradecemos por los favores celestiales que le concediste durante su vida de servicio y evangelización. Inspirados por su ejemplo, te pedimos que abras nuestros corazones para continuar su legado de servicio amoroso y constructor de paz. Con la esperanza de su intercesión ante Tu trono celestial, te rogamos que otorgues las peticiones que ahora te presentamos. También, si es su Tu voluntad, te pedimos que la santidad de su vida pueda resultar en que se le declare Santo, para que su ejemplo pueda inspirar paz, comprensión y justicia entre los pueblos. Te pedimos esto por Cristo nuestro Señor, para mayor gloria de Tu nombre. Amen.
